Los Angeles - (LMS)-The Southern California Motion Picture Council has honored Agnes-Nicole Winter, star, producer and writer of the motion picture "The Gold & The Beautiful", with a Golden Halo Award for her contribution to the entertainment industry and the performing arts, at their Awards Ceremony luncheon December 6th, in Studio City, California. Agnes-Nicole is the President/CEO of Global Star Films Inc. - in Beverly Hills, California. She wrote, produced and is co-starring with Kevin Farley and John Farley in the company's first feature film "The Gold & The Beautiful", a comedy/adventure, directed by Jack Serino, and a theme song written by Carol Connors, two time Academy Award nominated singer and songwriter.
She was a single parent for 10 years and delights in raising her two sons in Los Angeles, where she founded and is the CEO of C.A.P. - Children's After-School Programs Inc. www.capforkids.org. The mission of this charity is to raise funds to pay for supervised summer camps and after-school programs for children raised by low-income working single parents who cannot afford it.
She is a graduate of "Team Beverly Hills," a leadership program sponsored by the Beverly Hills City Council, and a board member of SWEA Film Commission-Swedish Women's Educational Association Inc., a global nonprofit organization for Swedish-speaking women who live abroad.
